About this listen
You thought life was hard? You should try being dead!
Life is hard. Change is difficult. But adjusting to being a ghost? Well, that is just darn near impossible.
And Bridget Sway is struggling. It's not just the job, the uniform, the housemates, the rules, the community service. It's everything. And now she's facing a week-long group assessment to evaluate her adjustment.
As if that isn't bad enough, some inconsiderate soul has shoved another dead ghost in her locker.
Things are looking bleak for Bridget. If she fails the assessment, she'll be "re-educated." If she fails to clear her name, she'll be sentenced to an eternity in prison.
But if she fails to find the killer? She'll be a dead ghost.

Assessments and murders, what could go wrong?
This is the 2nd Bridget Sway book in the series and just like the first I couldn't put it down until I got to the end. Trust me you should definitely read or listen to it but only if you are on your own (lots of laugh out loud moments that will get you some strange looks) and if you have lots of time to finish the book.....who needs sleep. This is a very unusual series, where ghost are getting killed off and all the fingers point to Bridget (literally) and I just loved it. It's amazing how much trouble one female ghost can find herself in, but armed with some mascara anything is possible and if she can just keep a hold of her shoes and her friends she might just survive for another book..yeah!!! The mystery took lots of twists to keep you guessing but it is the characters that really makes it entertaining and the spin the author gives to the afterlife with all the rules that must be followed just because. I read this when the book first came out but I thoroughly enjoyed it as an audio book and I am off to start listening to the next book.
Bridget hasn't taken to bring dead very well, well that's what the people in charge think and she is sent to be assessed. The problem is somebody is still killing off ghosts and stuffing them in her locker. Can she find who is trying to frame her again? And pass the assessment? Maybe if somebody was to stop killing off the assessors. She also has to do her community work job picking up the Newly deceased, help a medium find some missing money for an alive person who's husband died before he told her where he put it, attend her own funeral to hear what everybody thought of her, play nice with her room mates ...... Oh and find the killer before they send her to brainwashed into a good little well adjusted ghost.
It took a while to get use to the narrator but she soon grew on me. Not sure she pulled off a male Australian accent but she tried.

Enjoyable Series
I liked this one even more than book one. There are some really funny laugh out loud scenes in this book. This series just gets better. I am on book 3 now.
