About this listen
Emma was five years old and her mother was dead. A drunk driver saw to that. Well-meaning family and friends tell Emma not to worry, as her mother will always be with her. So which one of them is writing the little girl notes?
"Dear Emma" asks the question, "Do people on the other side of the vail concern themselves with us and our lives?"

Emotional
I received a free copy of this audiobook in exchange for an honest review.
This was a really emotional book, and that aspect of it pulls you in. I loved the aspect of seeing the family from a different perspective, from an outside angle, and it was really nice how seeing the Emma’s family struggles convinced the Chaplain of what to do regarding the argument with his partner.
The only issue I had with the book was the author of the notes. I know that you’re supposed to take the novel based on faith, but it felt like too much suspension of disbelief to me.
