Summary
Meet Detective Inspector Dan Hellier, a man who needs to redeem his career and catch a killer.
Soon after DI Hellier returns home to Exeter under a cloud, the body of a talented young singer is found in the woods. When her death reveals links to the boss of a recording studio, a predatory gang and a school music teacher, Hellier knows he has his work cut out. Before more innocent people are put in danger, Hellier will need to untangle the web of lies and work out which of many suspects are guilty of murder.

Great storytelling
I took this from the free section of Audible but it was absolutely gripping. Well written really recommend. Easy listening and great plot twists and turns. Will be looking for more of her books!

Clever story
I liked the characters and it was a nice complicated plot. I really enjoyed the twists and turns, and the main character is likeable. The narrator is excellent, you always know who’s talking. Even better it’s part of Plus so didn’t have to use precious credits. Highly recommend

Interesting story
I really liked this story it worked on so many levels it took me a while to get into the narration it worked towards the end. Yes I will go straight onto the next book.
I think this is the joys of the audible plus you get to try books out, I am glad I didnt buy it but I am glad I listened to it if that makes sense.

excellent plot
my first encounter with DCI Dan but won't be my last, enjoyed the twists and turns of the plot and the various characters all very believe able, easy to listen to narrator

Good storyline went along nicely Main character pretty flawed jumping to wrong conclusions....but still good character
