About this listen
A recent graduate of college, Nevaeh Clarke, finds herself returning to the outskirts of Meadow Crest to investigate the truth of her father’s death. Staying with her cousin, she finds there are some things she may not want to know.
Along her journey, with the help of Kato Dameer, a sexy mechanic with animal magnetism, she learns her self-discovery is playing games with her heart and mind.
Nevaeh is taught the truth can be painful, but it can also be bittersweet. Will she let go of the past and see into the future?

Great shifter book
I love this book. It’s so magical. Not only do we get hot Alpha wolves but also vampires and witches! Great hot read/listen. Charley and Tor are amazing together. Well written by Elaine.

Nevaeh & Kato
I have not listened to many shifter books but I am really starting to enjoy them. I was surprised that people in this book were familiar and comfortable with them. I feel like there was a lot packed into this fairly short book. There are vampires and werewolves in this book. HEA. No cliffhanger. The narration was great.

Short & sweet
Deja Vu is a short, sweet, and enjoyable paranormal romance novella. Despite the length, the story didn't feel rushed, and the characters were likeable. A great performance by Tor Thom and Charley Ongel. Both narrators portrayed the characters nicely. I was given a free copy of this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Short and Sweet
This was a short but good PNR. I enjoyed the storyline and the mystery of what the past had to do with the future. Hope there is more to come with these characters.

My Thoughts on Deja Vu
3.5 of 5 stars
This was my first book by Elaine Marie but I look forward to listening to more by her. This paranormal romance was an attention grabber. Especially with a leading man like Kato. He's one of those strong, understanding and super supportive types that instantly make you fall in love with them. Nevaeh didn't make me love her instantly like Kato did, but I was a fan by the end. I liked the blend of multiple supernatural creatures in this story. My only wish is that it had been a little longer so the author didn't have to do quite so many time jumps. I would have liked a bit of a slower progression of all the relationships and to have had time to see it all unfold. But the attraction and draw between the leading characters was understandable with shifters being involved.
The narrators for this story did an amazing job. I'm a huge fan of these two so I expected fantastic performances and once again they delivered. I love the character distinctions. Each character has their own unique tone. And of course their duet narration job is on point.

BOOK 🌟🌟🌟
AUDIO 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Really enjoyed the audio for this one, was easy to follow and listen too.
The book was good, it wasn’t what I was expecting but I couldn’t relate to the female character for this one. She annoyed me a little too much.
Good story line though and different to what expected. Done surprise in there too.

Searching for the truth!
Shifters are not my normal listen, but the combination of Elaine Maire paired with Tor Thom and Charley Ongel had me intrigued! This novella is packed full of steam, destiny and suspense. Nevaeh has recently finished school, she sets out to her home left to her by her father, leaving her evil stepmother and step brother behind. This move changes Nevaeh's life. Learning of her past, things about herself and mother and finding Kato all will alter her path and help her find her truths. I enjoyed this short, with wolves, vampires and witches. It's action packed, the romance and steam is high and you just can't help but love Kato and his protectiveness! I also loved Nevaeh's realizations of her own inner strength and powers. It's a great mixture of paranormal and romance.
Tor Thom and Charley Ongel are perfect for these roles. I love Thom's voice when used as an alpha, and his portrayal of Kato is spot on. He emotes his protective side, lets loose the anger and gives us passion. Nevaeh is a little tricky, as she is more complex. Being young, Ongel gives Nevaeh a voice that makes her independent, yet as things progress, I can hear not only the passion with Kato, but the maturing and learning. It's a transformation for Nevaeh and it all comes through Ongel's performance.

Really great PNR novella
I'm not a huge fan of PNR but this story had me drawn in from the beginning. I loved the characters of Nevaeh and Kato and wanted to know more about the world they lived in with werewolves, vampires and witches. I was a bit confused at first because Nevaeh has several moments of deja vu and it was weird like the audio was repeating itself but this all becomes clearer as the story progresses. The narration was spot on with these two and Tor and Charley embodied the characters brilliantly. I would love more stories of this world and characters.

Standalone Paranormal Romance Novella
Deja Vu by Elaine Marie is a Standalone Paranormal Romance Novella. I listened to this book on audio narrated by Tor Thom and Charley Ongel. This is the first book by Elaine's that I have read and look forward to reading more of her books in the future. I really enjoyed having the two narrators to distinguish between the male and female characters. I would recommend this book to anyone that enjoys Paranormal and Alpha Males.
