Summary
Der Graf Hyppolit lebt auf einsam auf einem schmucken Schloss. Eines Tages besucht ihn eine alte Baronesse mit ihrer schönen Tochter Aurelie, in die er sich alsbald verliebt. Die Baronesse hat ein dunkles Geheimnis. Sie stirbt und Hyppolit heiratet Aurelie. Jedoch bemerkt er bald, dass sie mit demselben Fluch belegt ist wie ihre Mutter und nachts Tote aus Gräbern zerrt und daran knabbert. Er kompromittiert sie damit.
