About this listen
The Sol Federation Marine Corps vessel S&R Black was sent to recover an ancient derelict from the farthest edge of the Sol system. What they found could spell the end of humanity.
Trapped aboard Mira, Corporal Kalimura and her squad face hostile alien creatures while desperately searching for a way to escape. The crew of S&R Black, meanwhile, discover the alien-infested Mira has brought back something else from outside the solar system, and it may mean the end for them all.
Derelict: Destruction, the third installment of The Derelict Saga, is an action-packed mashup of suspense, military sci-fi, and space opera horror. Destruction continues to unfold both the exo-solar threat to humanity and an insidious AI conspiracy.

3 books 1 story
whilst I did enjoy this book I do feel ripped off because the 3 books are one story. the catch line some mysteries shouldn't be solved seems to me that the writer can't close a story

Void wept
Void, void, void.
This book over uses the word so much It makes me want to buy the author a thesaurus, I've listened to book 1,2 and now 3 in this series.
I will NOT punish myself with book 4

Terrible ending
I have thoroughly enjoyed the Derelict series.
Even the very bad female voices. But .... The ending is woeful.
Still worth a listen.

Utterly disappointing ending
I've stuck with this series after the first book was not remotely stand alone with no 'ending' so to speak of. I don't mind this, but at least warn the reader.
I've also tolerated the sexist and patronising vocalisation of the female characters.
But the ending... I'm lost for words. It's such a terrible ending - like the author got bored and gave up. I don't mind an open end - Clarke was a master of that, and it made you think. This was so opened ended the plot fell out.
