WHAT THE HOLY ××××......
What on earth was that???????. I can not believe the editor listened to the same version of this book that we have listed to and agreed to make this public. Either that or he was still half p***ed from the night before. An absolutely fantastic book has been completely destroyed by some very bizarre and extremely bad impersonations.
I truly am lost for words. Sadly the voice actor wasn't.

EXCELLENT PRESENTATION.
Anybody who cares about truth, justice and honesty should read this! The author lays to rest any validity in the Warren Commission Report.

JFK Story Reveiled
What did you like most about Destiny Betrayed, Second Edition?
Stunning insight into the background of the JFK story from Cuba to Assassination. Truly enlightening, and much of the Jim Garrison enquiry is brought to the fore and explained why deliberate attempts to undermine his case was instigated. No attempt to force you to accept the evidence, but what is written is quite compelling. 5star+
What other book might you compare Destiny Betrayed, Second Edition to, and why?
Several, but the JFK books all have their own angle, and I have read or listened to quite a number from both sides of the argument. This book however sets out the Garrison vs Warren Commission Investigations in its true colours.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The were so many moments within the book that raised my eyebrow, and facts that I had not been made aware of prior to listening to this audio book; and the fact that newly uncovered material played a part in proving Garrison's case is eye-opening.
Any additional comments?
Superb book. Narration a little off when accents of people are attempted; but thankfully it is the material and subject that holds the readers ear.

Ok but...
Good book, with good insight. Narrator was generally OK but sounded like the mayor from The Simpsons when speaking as Kennedy. A bit off-putting particularly in the early chapters where a lot of Kennedy's policies are explored..

A valuable asset for JFK research
A very comprehensive account of key events both worldwide, domestic and political that lead to the turning point of modern history on November 22nd 1963.
Probably a better read as this narration well below Audible’s consistently high standards. The quotes are irritating and distracting, especially when trying to replicate the voice of JFK. I stopped listening and bought the book.

Why oh why?
Am a total Kennedy nut and have read/listened to a large number of them. This one looked really good as it goes back to the formation of the CIA after ww2, it's development and spheres of influence before even starting on JFK. THEN WHY FOR GODS SAKE LET THE NARRATOR ATTEMPT IMPERSONATIONS OF ALL CHARACTERS? It totally makes the book ridiculous and I gave up after chapter 4. It wouldn't be so bad if he was any good but he is rubbish. Not impressed and very let down.

A masterpiece of truth in regard to the JFK assassination.
An exceptionally well written book about those responsible for the murder of America’s 35th president and the cover up that ensued in the aftermath. I dread to think how many hours went into organising this and writing this comprehensive book.
Well worth the money.

Interesting but distracting
I've read quite a few books on the assassination of JFK and this book was able to provide information that I have never come across before.
It is a very in depth look at what happened and gives a tonne of background information.
The only downside is the narrators insistence on doing over the top impressions when reading quotes (especially those of JFK, Nixon and worst of all Martina Oswald), this makes it very distracting and completely pulls your attention away from the facts being presented.
