Søren Kierkegaard es un filósofo y autor nacido en Copenhague en 1813 y fallecido en esa misma ciudad en 1855. Considerado el padre de la corriente filosófica del existencialismo, centra su obra en la subjetividad del individuo y la condición humana en sí, así como la responsabilidad y la angustia vital. Hoy en día sigue siendo uno de los autores de referencia en las letras universales, tanto por quienes se adhieren a sus postulados como por quienes se oponen a ellos.
