Summary
Kate Parker, a native New Yorker, had a difficult time in her teenage years. She was filled with loneliness and despair after her father abandoned her and her mother, Maddy. When she receives an invitation to relocate to Southern California, Kate has self-doubt meeting new people and leaving her hometown. When the family is invited to a community party, Kate meets the Carrington family.
