About this listen

Old soldiers, comrades in arms - the Brigadier saw many fall during his years with UNIT, but perhaps none more tragically than those at Kreigskind. Called to help when a friend falls ill, how can Lethbridge-Stewart fight an enemy that can breach every defence?

Excellent in every way!

Loved the story line as we hear more about how Brigadier feels about the choices he's made in the past. Fantastic narration by Nicholas Courtney, his impression of John Pertwee as the third Doctor is spot on, if it wasn't for the interview at the end I wouldn't have been able to tell the difference! (love it when they put an interview at the end). Really good listen, will definitely be revisiting this time and time again.

Nicholas Courtney at his best!

A nice inspective piece looking deeper in to the Brigadier's thoughts and feelings about being a soldier. A nice enough story about friendship between soldiers and between the Doctor and the Brig.

Great story well told.

good to hear the Brig get a more well rounded treatment, doubts and all, while still remaining an old soldier to his core. Wonderful to hear that lovely, mellow voice again, too.
