Summary

Zach, Poppy, and Alice have been friends forever. And for almost as long, they’ve been playing one continuous, ever-changing game of pirates and thieves, mermaids and warriors. Was hoping for better

I came to this book from a recommended list of good Middle Grade horror books. While the character development was strong, the book was low on any real sense of creepiness. More of a straightforward coming of age tale really
