Summary
Pimsleur® equals success. Just one 30-minute lesson a day gets you speaking and understanding like no other program. Dutch Phase 1, Units 11-15 build on material taught in prior units. Each lesson provides 30 minutes of spoken language practice, with an introductory conversation, and new vocabulary and structures. Detailed instructions enable you to understand and participate in the conversation. Each lesson contains practice for vocabulary introduced in previous lessons. The emphasis is on pronunciation and comprehension, and on learning to speak Dutch. Reading Lessons begin in Unit 11 and provide you with an introduction to reading Dutch. These lessons are designed to teach you to sound out words with correct pronunciation and accent. A Reading Booklet to be used with the audio lessons is also included in PDF format.

Excellent Method
I have been using these Pimsleur audio books for 6 months now and I can HIGHLY recommend them . If you do what they say, you will learn Dutch! As impossible as that may seem when you start! The method easefully builds bit by bit and by osmosis almost, the learnings soak through you. I am quite confident that in another 6 months I shall be speaking fluently. It's good to do other studies of course, but this is a good base.
