About this listen
Mother doesn’t always know best in this atmospheric and twisty novel from the number one New York Times best-selling author of the Flowers in the Attic series and Landry series—now popular Lifetime movies.
When former teacher Paula Eden adopts Faith and Trevor, she is astounded by their natural intelligence and decides to homeschool them to nurture their brilliance. But as the years go on, Faith and Trevor itch for more independence.
When Faith sets her sights on a handsome young man visiting from out of town, Paula grows increasingly desperate to preserve her small family and her plans for the children to carry on her legacy. Luckily, she has a cohort in loyal Trevor, who will do anything to please his mother, even at the risk of hurting his sister and potentially changing their lives forever.

This felt like more Orginal Vc Andrews
This was a good book allthough I'm always comparing to the real books she wrote before the past away. I don't know who writes in her name now but there has been some good ones and this was one. but i felt that it it could of had more going on, as there was really only one main part that kicked the book off but not much has come of it. Also no answers to alot of things bought up in the story. Just kinda said then left hanging? but again i will say this had the real V.C feel so I've got hope the next book will be really good due to all left hanging through the book. narrator was very good and she gave that original VC Andrews feel. the book are overall was okay but I'm hoping for a lot more in the second so if that's the case then this book was well worth it
