About this listen
Well, it seemed as my days as a data analyst were long behind me, it seemed feeding random people’s cats and baking cookies for work colleagues was too.
What wasn’t behind me, however, was getting snatched by the mob or finding myself tied to yet another chair.
But this time the mob had made a big mistake, because this time they weren't the scariest ones out there.
No, but I knew who was.
The one who had claimed me.
The one who wanted me back.
The one who was now out for blood.
A Siren’s Enforcer.

Great continuation of the Siren series..
So far another good start, with book 1, to another (Hooray!) Afterlife spinoff series from Stephanie Hudson. I love all the Afterlife/Transfusion, HellBeast etc books and found these books 1&2, and just about to start 3, just as good with great, if similar in type, characters. I love it when you get Characters crossing over from the other books as well. On the whole good reads and great escapism.
On the performance, personally, I found the female American accent a little annoying at first. but got used to it and both performances improved the further you got. Didn't take away from the overall enjoyment.

Excellent
So the second book, to complete the story of Ward and Eden, and it's just as good as Ward's Siren.
There's an awful lot going off in this book, right from the start leading up to the end of their beginning.
Hey again, Eden is constantly ignoring Ward and putting herself into danger. Some times i just want to scream at her to listen, but there will come a time when Ward will be thankful that she didn't.
While Ward is still thirsty for revenge, Eden just wants to be by his side. This is however, not something Ward can allow, and eventually it's what will get her caught by the Felix, who is out for his own vengeance against Ward for what he has done!! Between the two, it ends up being a bloodbath, one that will leave Eden devastated.
What no one else is aware of, is that there is someone else who is working against Ward. One who also wants Eden for nefarious reasons. But all of that will be revealed. Oh, and let's not forget just how cute Wards little Carino is 🙄🙄🙄🙄
I can't really say much more without giving too much away, so let's talk audio.
Amanda Stribling and Lance Greenfield are again narrating and they do a really good job. Not much else I can say past that really. Lance isn't one of my favourites, but that's not to say that he's not good, because he is, he just isn't great. Amanda again does a better job, giving the characters different voices just by changing the tones slightly. Lance tends to really struggle with female vocals, compared to many other male vocalists. But it's not so bad that I'd put a mark against him really, after all its not an easy job is it?!?!
So I'd say a definite yes to both book and audio on recommending 😉😏

Great book
Great follow up book from Wards Siren. The story is fast paced with funny bits that made me laugh out loud.
Looking forward to the next book in the series
