Gotrek and Felix reluctantly travel to Marienburg to fulfil a last request from Felix's dying father. However, a chance meeting with their old acquaintance, Max Schreiber, sends them in a different direction entirely and right into the heart of danger. The Imperial wizard has been sent north to investigate some disturbing magical phenomena off the northern coast of the Empire. Pretty soon, the heroic duo and their companions find themselves caught up in a new adventure, fighting for their lives against the dark elves!

the adventure continues
I was always unsure how the Gotrek and Felox stories would continue after Bill King stopped writing them, but the quality remains. Though this story starts off fairly standard, it really gets going and the various plots intertwine brilliantly. There was one part in particular towards the end that I found particularly moving - I won't spoil it here, but it was excellent. Some emotional redemption is all I'll say! Great narration as always from Mr Keeble!!

Gotrek at its best!
Brilliant story and delivery. Enjoyed this one almost as much as Skavenslayer. Please keep them coming 🙏🏻

Epic randomness
From the city to the bottom of the ocean, to a submarine and an ark this book has all the action and random events you could ask, once again performance is outstanding I wish these went on forever

Grim dark and great
This is probably the most grim dark G&F so far, I like now that the novels have possible far reaching consequences and development to the plot without losing the small comedic charm. One of my favourite G&F novels now. Really looking forward to where the next one picks up.

The Duo never disappont
I love the whole Gotrex and Felix Saga and all the adventures they have and this book is no less amazing then the rest Nathan Long has done it justice from Willian Kings start to the novels the humour and camaraderie and resolve is still there. love the books
