About this listen
Sylvan forms an alliance with the neighboring Snowcrest wolf Pack after an attack on Snowcrest by creatures from beyond the veil and sends a cadre of warriors to aid in training the Snowcrest soldiers to defend against the next attack. Trent, one of Sylvan's lieutenants, understands her duty but can’t deny the primal call of another Were, even if Zora is the Alpha of the Snowcrest Pack and any relationship between them risks inter-Pack war. When Sylvan receives an unexpected summons - couched in the form of an invitation to parlay - from Cecilia, Queen of Faerie, she decides to cross into Faerie despite Drake’s misgivings and against the advice of her war council. The Timberwolf stronghold has never been breached, but this time the enemy is shielded by dark magic and no one is safe.

Short Story...
Short story that continues this lust filled series to it's final showdown (The next and probable final book is now out on audible)!
I say lust filled because there so much sex there's little time for an actual story ! About the sex it's so rough you have to wonder about why the author needs to attribute such an unromantic act every time as if the weirs are beasts without the capability of romantic or sentient love ?
The narration (as with Book 7) is hit and miss, most female characters sound like men or hormonal teenagers, Why authors and or publishers don't pay enough attention to narration is beyond me. The original narrator did a much better job and you get used to the characters voices (a good thing when done well)!
The female weirs described vividly as beautiful especially needed better narrated voices, the minds eye picture I had was just spoilt (plus you get a depiction on the front cover)!

Absolutely fantastic adventure.❤ I want more.❤
I Loved this storyline and the dynamics of all the characters. I feel sad that this so far is the last audio book. I do hope for another howling instalment. Phew what an outstanding masterpiece of steamy werewolves, vampires and more.
The narrator did a better job in this audio and definitely made the characters come alive.I recommend this audio and all of the series.❤
