Summary

Taking care of an injured vampire is hard, especially when you're bleeding profusely. In an attempt to save both of their lives, Seth leaves Victoria alone in his apartment and takes refuge with an old friend.

Book 2 is backstory

Book 2 in this short series is mainly backstory on the werewolf hero from the first and is told all in sort of "the day after" the first book. Not much pushed the story along but the listening time is under 40 minutes at normal speed.
