Summary
Zara and Nick are soul mates, meant to be together forever. But that’s not how things have worked out. For starters... well, Nick is gone. He’s been taken to some mythic place for warriors called Valhalla, where Zara and her friends might be able to get him back. It’s just not going to be easy.
Meanwhile, Bedford needs its warriors more than ever, since a group of evil pixies is devastating the place, with teens going missing every day. An all-out war seems imminent. But even if Zara and her friends can find the way to Valhalla, there’s that other small problem: Zara’s been pixie kissed. When she finds Nick, will he even want to leave with her? Especially considering she hasn’t turned into just any pixie.... She’s Astley’s queen.

Getting better
When I listened to the first book in this series 'Need' I must admit I was a little unsure and found Zara a little hard to relate to but now as the series has reached its third book 'Entice' I found that she has really found her way and I really like her now. Now that Zara is a pixie she has some tough choices to make and I must admit I do like Astley and am routing for him. Zara is on a quest to get Nick back from Valhala whether he still wants to know her or not and we see Zara and Astley following up leads to this end. I do not want to give the story away - my only criticism is that the reader is left dangling at the end - yet again! and so have to wait another year for the outcome. All in all though a really good read and well within scope for the young adult market. I am a lot older than 'young adult' and I did not find it to flaky or patronising. After all a love story should be for all ages.
