Great book
I got this audiobook for my 10-year-old nephew, who’s obsessed with basketball and spends half his life dribbling a ball in the driveway. I figured it’d be a fun way to keep him entertained during a long car ride to his grandma’s house last weekend. The narrator’s energy was spot-on—he sounded like he was courtside, calling out plays, which made those old-school stories about legends like Jordan and Magic Johnson come alive. My nephew’s eyes lit up when they talked about Jordan’s clutch shots.
I’m no basketball nut myself, but hearing these stories made me get why he loves it so much. It’s perfect for kids who live for the game, and honestly, I enjoyed it more than I expected.

ood book
This is an amazing book for anyone who is into basketball.
I never thought about the history of a sport so it was interesting to read about basketball origin and enolution.
The book is packed with empowering and motivating stories of players under different categories such as players who shaped the game and the future legends. Talking about women and diversity in basketball is a huge plus as it is not something that is included in similar boosk.
The author also talks about basketball playing a role in self-development and the role of mentorship. I definitely recommend this book if you want to read a complete book about basketball.

Be inspired by your heroes!
Basketball players are some of the most dedicated and talented individuals on the planet. To have an audiobook like this that kids and even adults can be inspired by. I really enjoyed how much focus there was on female athletes too! The trivia and interactive activities made the book really unique. The authors have a way of drawing you into these epic stories and keeping you excited and wanting more! Magic Johnson was always a favourite of mine growing up and obviously Michael Jordan is an absolute legend so it was great to hear adventures stories about them and so many other amazing basketball players! The free PDF is a great bonus!
