Story
Dreamy fantasy stories have actually been a trend. They’ve inspired millions. As opposed to the lengthy novels, these stories are short but cut to the chase in an instant. They light up the weird and the uncanny, the marvelous as well as the fantastic: All the things we know are going beyond the reasonable and instantly realistic - into looking-glass, beyond the songs of the impossibly haunting violin, with the twisted trees of the ancient timbers.

Story
This contemporary fiction book is an anthology of several short stories: Story 1: A man is in search for his beloved bird, which keeps flying away to different areas. However, the bird's pattern isn't random. Story 2: Nora has a gothic look and a secret superpower to teleport from one spot to another within sight. Story 3: Norman, a man with ADHD, finds a hidden treasure in the middle of the desert, and his bravery and entrepreneurial skills are put to the test. Story 4: Benjamin comes across a wishing well.

Romance: I wouldn't say these short stories are steamy hot in a sexual sense, but the romantic scenes are definitely filled with some flirting, sexual tension, and suggestive, humorous comments. As the author tried to keep it all clean to target a specific audience, you'll find that even the most trivial circumstances can create the most interesting and fun love stories. Fighting, miscommunication, awkwardness, and status add to the mixture, as the characters mingle and sometimes remain single.

I have stolen princesses back from sleeping barrow kings. I burned down the town of Trebon. I have spent the night with Felurian and left with both my sanity and my life. I was expelled from the university at a younger age than most people are allowed in. I tread paths by moonlight that others fear to speak of during day. I have talked to Gods, loved women, and written songs that make the minstrels weep. My name is Kvothe. You may have heard of me.

According to mythology, mankind used to live in 'The Tranquiline Halls': heaven. But then the Voidbringers assaulted and captured heaven, casting out God and men. Men took root on Roshar, the world of storms, but the Voidbringers followed. The Almighty gave men powerful suits of armor and mystical weapons, the Shardblades. Led by 10 angelic Heralds and 10 orders of knights known as Radiants, mankind finally won (or so the legends say).

Brace yourself. You will begin to listen to all kinds of stories, from zombie-killing individuals to spooky warnings from ghosts. Most of these are not heavy, gory horror stories but lightly sprinkled humorous ones with casual plot twists that most people will enjoy. Murder is definitely one of the main themes as is survival in a post-apocalyptic era. Ghosts and beasts in different forms will adorn the elements of these psychological and action-packed stories.

Poor narration
I've given 3/5 for sorry but honestly it's hard to get past the narration at all. It could be Lord of the Rings or it could be trash? The reader treats each sentence like isolated statements, instead of a story, as if reading sentences to be cut up for video game dialogue. Worst I've heard on Audible, I don't understand how a professional narrator and audio production company can have created this.

I enjoyed it
Fascinating stories. Fun storylines. The author knows what she is doing. I have to say that there was kind of a feminine touch to some of them. No gruesome details or anything, but in the fantasy genre nonetheless. It was something that was definitely my cup of tea. If it's yours, I can't tell, but I recommend the book. That' just my opinion.

Dramatic and light at the same time
This is a book with many short stories. There were some dramatic moments in there that I enjoyed, especially when the narrator really got into it, but the majority was funny, simple, and to my taste, good enough with all that it contained.

terrible stories, narrator appalling
the language used is terrible, words are used in a juvenile way. often words are misused.
the stories dont flow, no coherent ideas or development of the story or characters. the narrator is the worst i have ever heard on audible. runs words together and has no internations or they are in the wrong place. I am getting a refund on this one.
