Summary

The Externalisation of the Hierarchy concerns the emergence of the spiritual kingdom into the world of humanity’s daily living. But this will only happen when our motives and values begin to mirror those of the soul. This book shows the encouragement humanity has received (and is receiving) to choose the right path. But human freewill – such a hotly debated subject – cannot be interfered with, however urgent the danger, or great the opportunity.

Written between 1919 and 1949, the book explores many of the spiritual factors influencing this period of human history, especially World War II. Many of its observations and predictions are proving of equal relevance for the world today. These include an assessment of the energies at work behind the world scene, and the role of certain great Beings who have been magnetically attracted in service towards our world at a major climaxing moment in the evolution of our planetary life.
