really enjoyed listening to book 1 of the Billionaire in Disguise series.
The story is about Derek a self made billionaire who finds his life in danger by a mystery person. When he’s advised to put in place some security to protect him he never expected Sam William’s to walk his life. Sam is gorgeous which doesn’t go unnoticed by Derek and with an impressive CV means Derek’s in trouble if he doesn’t do as he’s told. Sam knows what she needs to do, she’s strong, confident and won’t put up with Derek’s arrogant behaviour and makes it clear she isn’t a fan. I enjoyed this book even though it ends on a cliff hanger as the danger is revealed to Derek who is left shocked. I am now looking forward to the next book to see how the story develops.

Well I didn't see that coming...
First of all, Tanner De Bruyne is a new to me narrator and I really enjoyed his performance! He had fantastic character range, both male and female.
I had gotten so into the story, I didn't realise it was over until the cliffhanger and "the end" The story was fast paced, kept me on my toes figuring "who done it" and had a good mix of suspense/heat! A thoroughly enjoyable book! I can't wait for the next book!

Better than I expected!
This was really good! Better then what I was expecting and a little different from what we are used to in the romance category. I would like to be less instalust though, or for the characters not to act on it because sometimes they actions were a little dumb because it was lust induced. The narrator is amazing, can't wait to hear more of his work.

Get ready for an exciting story! This first installment of the Billionaire in Disguise story is not your typical rich boy romance! Derek is a self made man, and is finding the bigger his successes, the more protection he needs. When Sam Williams is recommended to be his bodyguard, he decides to hire Sam, only to realize she is a woman. How can this possibly work? Can she honestly keep him safe? Derek's character is definitely not one I would look at twice, even though his status. Too arrogant for me, but I am still hopeful his true heart is revealed in the next story. Sam is fantastic. I love strong female leads, and while at times she is almost starstruck, she is competent and is on the case. But will it be enough? Yes, it's a cliffhanger! But that just makes it all the better when you start book 2(which I hope is released soon!)This is a fun, romantic suspense.
Tanner DeBruyne brings this story to life. I am a fan, his voice is warm and smooth. He has just enough arrogance in his voice for Derek and has a great female voice for Sam! I love that he can do both with ease and make the characters sound realistic. I can't wait to see where this goes next.

rushed ending?
i felt like the story was being dragged too long, while i understood who the eye was right away. at the same time the ending feels incomplete.. i get it there will be a book 2, but is it going to pick us up where this left us?
about the narration, Tanner is a brilliant reader. i love his voice. unfortunately he is not very believable as female narrator, so i feel that maybe a dual narration would have been better here when on Sam's point of view.

Good
I loved listening to Tanner De Bruyne. A very good narrator who makes the story to come to life.
Heads up this book ends on a cliffhanger.
We have a Derek, who hires Samantha as a bodyguard. Problem is he finds himself attracted to her.
