Summary
Leo Winter loves his life. He works when he needs money. He rides when he craves freedom. He frequents the local bar when he wants a good time. His motorcycle club might be a memory, but the bachelor life still suits him fine. So when a one-night stand surprises him at a family barbecue and claims she’s pregnant with his child, he’s certain he’s died and gone to hell.
Cassandra Cline took one night off from her structured life. One. And now her wild fling with the local bad boy has turned her life sideways. Her dreams and academic career are circling the drain, and none of it would have happened if she’d stayed far, far away from Leo.
Except avoiding him is impossible, especially when she’s forced to move home to Clifton Forge, Montana. And he refuses to leave her side when a series of strange accidents put her and their baby at risk. But are they accidents? Or is she standing in the middle of a battlefield she doesn’t understand?
Her only allies are people she barely knows. And a man who has the potential to steal her heart.
If only he’d stop playing the fool.

Sweet dreams, little. Leo has my heart
Just when I thought I couldn’t love another Devney Perry hero, she goes and brings out the big guns, Leo Freaking Winters, and once again I’m quickly reminded why I’ll always trust her with my fragile, HEA loving heart, and hold on for the bumpy ride!
Leo and Emmett have always been the two Tin Gypsies whose stories have intrigued me as much as they’ve scared me. Although they’ve been a main part of the series so far, their life away from the garage hasn’t seen much action, but their confirmed bachelorhood and escapades have been made crystal clear. As I said before though, this is a Devney Perry book, and that should have clued me in that there was absolutely nothing to worry about!
After a one night stand ends in an accidental pregnancy, Cass and Leo are thrown together into a situation neither knows how to navigate. Whilst Cass chooses calm acceptance, Leo chooses anger, trying to scare Cass away, especially when past rivalries threaten her safety. Leo soon discovers though, Cass can live without him, but he’s not so sure he can live without her.
Cass was the crown jewel in this story, her calm assuredness, her quiet determination and her full acceptance of Leo, his treatment of her and his mountains of baggage made her a kick butt heroine, you can’t help but love.
Leo is... well I spent a lot of time either wanting to slap, shake or scream at Leo, but when it really came down to it and we finally get to see behind the wall of self loathing, doubts and insecurities that plague him, how much Draven’s loss impacted on him, and how the disbandment of the club left him adrift, well you just can’t help but love him. I just knew I was going to lose my heart to him, which I 100% did.
Once again, Devney has waved her magic wand and written a story that is not only an unconventionally beautiful romance, has twists, turns, action and drama, but has so much heart, highlighting once again that families aren’t always blood related, and although there might be losses and compromises to make along the way, if you’re all in, you will always end up the winner.
I can’t preach enough about Devney’s writing, each book, each series brings something new, I never thought I’d like a motorcycle club member, let alone love them heart and soul, but that’s the magic of her stories.
Fallen Jester is undoubtedly a 5 star read, along with every book in the series, get your copy and get lost in the Tin Gypsy world, it’s a special place to be.
