About this listen
I’ve tried to like Adrian Savage, the mercurial frontman for Fugitive Summer, while serving as his band’s opening act on tour. We’re stuck together for three months, after all. And I’m well aware I’m lucky to be here.
But it’s proved impossible. He’s far too rude and dismissive a guy to get along with. And way too good at getting under my skin. In fact, at this point, I think it’s fair to say I downright hate his guts.
Global thirst trap that he is, though, I’m finding it extremely difficult not to want to jump Savage’s bones, despite how much he infuriates me. I hate myself for it. But my body is going rogue on me. It doesn’t matter, though. I’m determined to resist him.
In fact, what I’ve decided is that, as long as I’m here and stuck with him, I’m not only going to give Savage the sound tongue lashing nobody else around here has the balls to deliver, I’m going to bring that bad boy to his knees.

Love the original song in this audibook!
Adrian Savage and Lila Fitzgerald, remember those names as they will become your next favorite one. Savage is a rockstar, and if you know Lauren Rowe she goes the extra mile with songs and so bam, we have a new favorite original song to hear on her website. The story is an enemies-to-lovers romance, if you are addicted to those as I am then you must read this book now! The storyline is fantastic, it will hook you from the start and you can't simply stop reading. Laila is a character you will love, she is sassy and talented, and a pop star, so yes definitely getting good here. Then we have Savage, the sexy hot player, who is mysterious as well as a rockstar, who has no idea how to deal with emotions. Get them together and you get dynamite. This story will get to you and you will simply need to know what will come up next as this is a duet and one I simply can't wait for. The audibook narrated by Andi Arndt and Jacob Morgan is the best thing to experience the story, you will get to hear the original song, so definately get the audiobook. Brilliant 5 stars!

🎧 Layla and Savage 🎧
Part 1 of a hot and steamy enemies-to-lovers/fake relationship rockstar duet. Set in the world of River Records, featuring all your favourite Morgans, Goats, singers, bodyguards and reporters, and narrated perfectly by Jacob Morgan and Andi Arndt.

So much better than I expected
This book has so many elements that normally annoy me, but I LOVED this audiobook and I'm fairly sure it's because Jacob Morgan and Andi Arndt did such a great job narrating it. Both performances were amazing, and I particularly loved Jacob Morgan's unhinged rock star freaking out scenes. There was a decent amount of playing games, wrong assumptions, angst and an expected cliffhanger that I normally don't have a lot of patience for, but the good things about this audiobook vastly overshadowed all of that and I can't wait to listen to the next one.

Slow burn
Who doesn’t love a slow burn between characters? I listened to the audiobook and both do a great job, I could listen to Jacob Morgan read the phone book though. Good story, don’t normally like ‘rockstar’ type stories but this was great. Off to get the next one.

SUPERB
I loved this audio book I think it's the first in a duet about Savage and Layla. it's got great banter and real laugh out loud moments, Savage is a wonderful dirty talking Adonis of a lead singer and his antics are understandably wonderful. Layla is very special and he wants her as much as she wants him. it's a really superb book and not one to be missed. I absolutely love the song at the end it was a special treat made Savage even sexier. As for performance what can I say, Jacob Morgan my narrator boyfriend he could read anything to me and I'd listen, Andi Arndt as always top notch. The audio is always going to bring the book to life especially with narrators of this calibre. well done, I'm off to get the next in the series. superb 😍😍😍😍😍
