A good basic,

This book is good for beginners and new screenwriters. Beyond that it is too simplistic.

I've read better

Not bad.

Possibly better (easier to reference and reread chapters out of order) in printed book form than on audible, but the narrator did a decent job and the author meant well.
Had to smile when he talked about using hot water to wash out blood from clothing: That would be a big NO. (It's cold water and salt). Also, no way can a hand dryer in a restroom dry a sodden garment (unless maybe it's a Dyson and how many schools have those?)

Very useful to see author's approach to writing though.

Would I recommend it? Meh... if you can borrow it for free or it's on sale etc, sure. But generally, no not really.

Ultimately, best way to learn about screenwriting is to just knuckle down and do it, over and over. FINISHING THAT SCRIPT REQUIRED.
