About this listen
Damaged (a Gargoyle Shifter / Witch Romance)
Opposites attract in this fiery paranormal romance.
"I don't want to spoil the story, but let me say this...you need to go and read this, now!" (Satin Sheets Romance)
Maya Winters, a firefighter, heads out on Halloween to dance at her favorite club. A man with haunting eyes watches her from the back of the club. He's just her type - dark and brooding. She feels their connection, but thinks it's merely physical attraction.
Who was she? Why did she have that light?
Despite being the new owner, Tristan Stone avoids people in the underground goth club due to his curse. But when he spots a woman dancing alone surrounded by an unusual glow, he must discover who she is and what gives her the radiating power.
While they work together to understand their connection, passion ignites, leading to danger.
And the heat could send their world up in flames.
Fire is a stand-alone romance in the Underground Encounters series, set in a club that attracts supernatural creatures.
Step into Vamps, a thrilling new world of steamy paranormal romance featuring shifters, vampires, witches, and gargoyles.

Entertaining paranormal romance
Fire was an entertaining paranormal romance with well written plot and characters and with the right amount of drama. It was a perfect book for the weekend.
I loved the narrators. Both Amber Lee Connors and Kieran Flitton did a fabulous job with their narration. I think I have to add both of them to my favorites list. The quality of the narration was also superb.

Intriguing
I listened to Fire as a standalone, and got the storyline, but I would recommend listening to first book Smolder first, which hopefully I will do. Having said that, characters are well developed, has an interesting storyline which is dark around the edges with pn flair.
I enjoyed Amber and Kieran’s narration in bringing these characters to life.
I was gifted this audible book for a fair and honest review.

I love this series
This book has a great storyline. I love the characters, Tristan is a little arrogant but I’ll forgive him that as he is fire in bed!! Fantastic performance from both Amber and Kieran.

Love the story!
This is a well written and narrated story. I enjoyed the story with the struggles that the characters go through and learning to trust each other. This book has action, adventure, suspense, intrigue and romance.
The narrator’s do a fabulous job with the characters and voices of each character which makes it easy to distinguish between the characters. They seem to have a fantastic way together. I love listening to this two narrator’s.

Another enjoyable entry to the series
I thoroughly enjoyed this story and it's another one I managed to finish in a day, because I kept wanting to find out what happened next. Both lead characters have their own demons haunting them (emotional, not literal) and this doesn't make for an easy relationship but they do try their best to trust, believe and help each other through the various emotional ordeals they face.
I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this audiobook and felt the narration truly helped the story flow well. The two narrators did a better job than the single narrator (different person) in the first book of the series and there was no mistaking which character either of the narrators were portraying. Although I do prefer dual narration where the male narrator takes on all the male voices and the female takes on the female voices, rather than a chapter each - but that is down to the producers of the audiobook and shouldn't reflect on the story the author has written.
