About this listen
Fire Maidens: the sizzling, suspenseful series finale!
Bear shifter Heath Cauley figured his latest bodyguarding gig would be the usual - social gatherings, public events, and a bratty, entitled heiress to endure. He wasn’t expecting a stubborn, independent Fire Maiden with a fiery attitude and a hell of a left hook. And he sure wasn’t expecting sparks to fly from the moment they meet.
Dragon shifter Claudia Kaiser is determined to fulfill her destiny as a Fire Maiden, no matter what the risk. She’s a protector, not a damsel in distress. But not everyone sees it that way, so she can’t make a move without a detail of bodyguards hot on her heels. That includes the intriguing - er, annoying - new guy with golden brown eyes and a mysterious past.
Meanwhile, a treacherous enemy plots to release unfathomable evil locked away beneath the snow and ice of the highest Alpine peaks. It will take teamwork, unsavory informants, and swallowed pride for Claudia and Heath to not just survive, but to save the continent from a terrible fate.
Anna Lowe’s Fire Maidens: Billionaires & Bodyguards series
Danger lurks over Europe, where a ruthless dragon clan plots to seize power in the grandest, most glamorous cities. The guardians of old have summoned a new generation of shifter heroes to protect the castles, cathedrals, and cobblestoned streets of their ancestral homes - and to seek out the last of the Fire Maidens, women coveted by the dark lords for their royal blood. Those women are absolutely off-limits to the young warriors tasked with protecting them. But destiny, of course, has other ideas…
A series of sizzling paranormal romances with adult content. Dragons, wolves, lions, and more! Each story is packed with action, emotion, and romance! No cliff-hangers. If you like smoldering-hot shape-shifters, military heroes, royal intrigue, and a hint of magic, you'll love these books. Join these strong heroines and their alpha heroes in atmospheric locales filled with danger and suspense!

A mountain of trouble
Fire Maidens: Switzerland is the ninth (and last) book in the Billionaires and Bodyguards series and follows Claudia and Heath’s story. Unlike the other Fire Maidens in this series, Claudia has been a Fire Maiden since birth. She wants to protect her country, but she’s not allowed to go anywhere without her bodyguards. (Although she still tries to!) Heath is one of those bodyguards, but he sees Claudia’s strengths, not the imagined weaknesses.
Everything comes to a satisfying conclusion in the final battle. This book had all the usual danger, excitement and steam, and the narration, as always, was brilliant.

It's all coming to an end.
Spectacular, what an end to an incredible series. It has everything, action packed fighting, steamy romance and cute adorable moments. Heath and Claudia are such a crazy cute pairing, the way they tease each other is so much fun. Having all the previous characters appear was fantastic, and a certain thorn in the side she-dragon finally getting her just deserts. I absolutely loved this.

Gutted it’s over
Book 9 in Billionaire and Bodyguards series by Anna Lowe
I can’t tell you how gutted I am this series is finished. Kelsey Osborne does a fantastic job bringing these amazing books to life and I am just gutted it’s over.
Heath meets a sultry women in a restaurant and has a amazing night together but next morning she’s gone and when he goes to his first day on job he comes face to face with her and the lady he’s protecting Switzerland Fire maiden.
Claudia is a bit different then previous books because she was born a fire maiden and raised as such so comes from a wealthy family and had been taught to protect herself, which is why she hates her bodyguards.
I love that they struggle briefly about there attraction but soon they can hold back. I love the twist about Heaths shifter abilities and how amazingly this series is finished and wrapped up beautifully. Would love so short stories for the after the HEA like when they have children and such.
Definitely check out other series by this writer if you enjoyed this. Anna Lowe writes amazing shifter story’s and Kelsey Osborne beautifully narrators them all.

Perfect ending
I always wondered the mystery of Heath, silent but always there on the edge.
I like that we know Claudia is a Fire Maiden and as always that Dragon Clan seeks to overthrow the city/town is back.
Love this book, it was a very fitting end to a wonderful series.
Well done Anna, and Kelsey.

Heath and Claudia's Story - The End of an Era
Having devoured all the books in this wonderful series I was looking forward to Heath's story and I have to say it didn't disappoint. I've always liked it when he stepped up to help his buddies in the previous books and wanted him to find his own HEA. I loved his story but as the final one in this series, I admit I'm sad realising that his story is the last and that the series has come to an end.
Health and Claudia's story was a fitting end, I loved how they were able to move past their fears about trusting someone new, how Heath was able to get past his fear of opening himself up to love so they were able to accept that they could find happiness and love together. It was nice to see his buddies and their Fire Maidens all come together, I love the abiding friendships and camaraderie formed not only between the guys but their wonderful mates. I'm going to miss this bunch of shifters but then all good things come to an end - although maybe Anna can revisit them when they all have children, perhaps a Christmas Special sometime?
But back to Heath and Claudia, these two are perfect for each other, but then they would be because they are destined mates and Destiny wouldn't have it any other way. They met by chance one evening and ended up spending the most incredible night of their lives together - only to part in the morning without exchanging details. Later that day he attends an interview for the position of bodyguard to the only born fire maiden, you've guessed it, Claudia. Despite her not wanting him as part of her team they work out an arrangement, a professional one, which turns out to be the best decision possible when dark forces attack Claudia and her safety and survival is placed squarely on Heath's broad shoulders.
As always Anna's writing style, research of locations and characters are a joy to read.
The narration of this book, in fact, the whole series is by the talented Kelsey Osborne, she brought all the characters to life beautifully.
I was given this audiobook as a gift and am voluntarily writing my review.
