About this listen

Adrian Powell has a secret, a secret he’s guarded for 17 years. But it’s come at a cost—few friends, fewer lovers, and a lifetime of loneliness. If he’s a bit grumpy and a tad pessimistic, who can blame him? So, exactly how he’s ended up with a bunch of nosy friends, a beautiful lakeside cottage and a successful business, is beyond him.

It’s a life he never imagined, and one that includes a problematic new neighbour, Niall Carmichael—an irritating, equally grumpy, sexy as hell silver fox, who kisses like a dream, shakes every one of Adrian’s walls, and who might just prove Adrian’s undoing.

But secrets have a way of catching up with you. And when Adrian’s past comes knocking, it might just threaten everything he’s built.

Full of Romance and Adventure.

I've waited impatiently for Adrien's story, and let me tell you that it did not disappoint. Flat white and Chocolate Fish is a gorgeously stunning story. Be prepared for one hell of a ride.

The great thing about this story is that you never know where you'll end up. It's full of twists and turns and some laugh out loud moments. It was totally unexpected! As with all of Ms Hogan's stories, this one is full of heart and of course a beautiful HEA. I dare you not to fall in love with Adrien. He's gorgeous, hot and such a sweet guy. Niall is a no nonsense kind of guy who doesnt know what's hit him! This is totally different from the first two stories in the series. It had drama, danger and romance. It made me laugh, smile fondly and get angry all in a short time! As usual Gary does a cracking job, he captured the characters perfectly. He does emotion, romance, passion, anger and live so well. I love his work.

About a hate filled family

Wow all the nasty things in life drugs meths factory amother doesnt care or love her child or keep him safe, thankfully someone falls for him and manages to keep him safe but it's a very bumpy road. Again with Australian humour and brilliant narration.

Good story for a sunny day.

I'd read the book 📙 many years ago and enjoyed it.. The plot is genuinely enthralling, which surprised me. It's not Henry James, but sometimes you just need a simple story with a not too thrilling plot and a happy ending.
