Summary
The profound sequel to Firefly Lane, now a major Netflix series starring Katherine Heigl and Sarah Chalke. From Kristin Hannah, the bestselling author of The Four Winds and The Nightingale.
Fly Away is the heartrending story of three women who have lost their way and need each other – plus a miracle – to transform their lives . . .
Tully Hart, a celebrity news reporter is spiralling downward after the sudden loss of her best friend Kate.
Consumed with guilt, Tully and Kate's daughter, Marah, grapple with their past mistakes. Meanwhile, Cloud, Tully's mother, endeavours to alleviate the burden. For them to find their way back, forgiveness becomes their only hope.
And then something momentous happens – something which causes each one of them to realize what they’ve done, and what they have become . . .
This audiobook also contains a reading group guide with Kristin Hannah.

loved it, probably more than Firefly Lane
This book is really relatable and definitely focuses on the emotional responses to life events ordinary and thankfully more rare.

heartwarming
Great follow up to Firefly Lane. I loved the back stories of the other characters, particularly Dorothy.

Loved it
I enjoyed Firefly Lane so decided to listen to this afterwards. I loved this even more, if you have listened or read Firefly Lane you must follow it with this, it gives so much more depth and understanding to the first story. I think this book could stand alone as there is enough of an explanation as to what had previously happened. I loved the format of how the story unfolds and I warmed much more to some of the characters.

Enjoyed finding out about what happened after Kates death and how the characters struggle with thier grielf. Cloud's story line was tough one her struggles growing up as a child. This book is about more darker then the first book

Captivating
Wow this was just brilliant. I was a little worried as although I loved Firefly Lane I’ve since watched the brilliant TV series and this obviously deviates from the novel. So I was worried I would struggle to get back in synch with these firefly lane characters. But Kristin Hannah effortless weaves us back into their world and I have to say I haven’t been hooked on a book like I was hooked on this one for a little while. Shed some tears towards the end… and felt very sad to be saying goodbye to the family on the final listen

Beautiful story
A beautiful story that continues from Firefly Lane, focusing on how the family are coping or not following the death of Kate. I cried so much listening to this and when it goes back to Cloud\Dorothy's early days. Both this book and Firefly Lane will stay with me for a very long time.
