In his new film The Hoax, Gere plays a scam artist who gets a major book publisher to pay him a seven figure publishing deal. It's based on the true story of Clifford Irving who claimed to be a Howard Hughes biographer. Then, writer/director Jake Kasden's new film is The TV Set which stars David Duchovny and Sigourney Weaver. Kasden previously directed the pilot for the highly acclaimed TV series Freaks and Geeks.
