Für Uta ist Babička der ultimative Familiensong und immer wieder auch eine Reise in Kindheitserinnerungen an ihre eigene Oma. Für Artur Frank war der Song „New York, New York“ von Frank Sinatra schon immer sein Lieblingssong. Mit „Your Song“ aus dem Jahr 1970 von Elton John hat Christof Mann vielleicht den „größten“ Song von Elton John als seinen Lieblingssong ausgewählt.
Eine wahre Hymne für Überlebenskraft, Selbstbehauptung und Selbstständigkeit ist „I will survive“ von Gloria Gaynor, sagt Karin Diede-Becker. Durch ein besonderes Erlebnis wurde „Am Fenster“ von der Gruppe City aus dem Jahr 1977 der Lieblingssong von Peter Jumpertz.
Wer ein musikalisches Wimmelbild erleben möchte, kommt an dem Lieblingssong von Uwe Schmalz nicht vorbei. „Jungleland“ von Bruce Springsteen bestimmt seit vielen Jahren Uwes Leben. Was Georg Feltes mit James Brown verbindet, das hat mit seinem Lieblingssong „Listen to the music“ von den Doobie Brothers zu tun. Mit „Music“ von John Miles hat Harry Fröhlich einen epochalen Song aus dem Jahr 1976 als seinen Lieblingssong ausgewählt.
„Ich weiß, was ich will“ von Udo Jürgens steht für Peter Schmitz für ganz viel Liebe und Erinnerungen und prägt sein Leben bis heute. „Wonderful tonight“ von Eric Clapton ist Thomas Felgenträgers Lieblingssong und eine Ballade für die besondere Momente im Leben.
