Summary
A magnificent new romance by New York Times best-selling author Emma Chase - available in audio first!
Dean Walker is all about keeping life simple. He’s effortlessly talented and intelligent - spending his summers playing drums in the local band and the rest of the year teaching high school in the same Jersey town where he grew up. He likes his love life simple too, enjoying the commitment-free hook-ups his good looks and sexy charm have always made oh so easy.
Then he meets Lainey Burrows. And his simple, easy life gets turned upside down.
One wild one-night stand was all it was ever supposed to be, so Lainey is shocked when she discovers that her sizzling summer fling is also her son’s new math teacher. But that’s nothing compared to the most unexpected twist of all - their hot hook-up left Lainey knocked up, and now they’re about to become parents. Together.
What ensues is an addictive, insatiable, sweet and tender romance that won’t be simple, but it will be more than worth the fight.

This book was equal parts swoony and funny, the characters were fantastic. Dean, the skirt chaser and Lainey, the super mum were really cute together and had me in stitches sometimes. Sooo gooooood!!!

Book 2 in series
Loved this story and the strong female characters. Also like how you see the development of characters from 'Getting Schooled'.

Getting Played
A good concept, with great rounded characters. The story starts with them getting it on only to part without letting Escher know the other persons details, so when Jamie finds herself pregnant she has no way of getting in touch. So the first half of the story is following they living their individual lives, until parents day. Funny story, with strong character's and great support from family and friends when the worst happens. Read by two brilliantly narrators Andi Arndt and Zachary Webber.

A Happy Read
This was my first read from this Author, Emma Chase, and boy did I enjoy it. It was a very 'easy' read in which the Author takes the reader on the journey of a young couple - from point of first meeting. I found it to be an easy, humorous read that I felt part of and drawn into from the start.
Brilliantly narrated by Andi Arndt and Zachary Webber.
Thank you Emma - a great listen, I will be downloading more of your books for sure. I will definitely recommend this book to other readers, who are looking for a happy, comfort read. Perfect for that rainy afternoon when all you want to do is snuggle down with a book!

Emma Chase read by Zachary Webber and Andi Arndt: perfection 100%
Emma Chase so skilfully weaves a complex story of linked characters within a sequence of ordinary community and yet extraordinary events, that you are left 100% satisfied in ways you never dreamed you could be. Every single word is perfect and entirely believable. One never gets the feeling that some plot twist isn’t entirely plausible and perfect. You never have that feeling that you have to suspend disbelief. Even though you might think happily ever after is boring, Emma Chase takes you on a rollercoaster of character interaction that amazes. And even though these books are linked, they stand alone ( How does she do it?) Even though Andi Arndt and Zachary Webber are the voices of various couples across the series, they are still entirely uniquely those characters (How do they do it?) And omg is Zachary Webber ear candy or what? I could listen to this man read the phone book! And in each book the stream is at once very descriptive/graphic and intense but never vulgar, seedy or ill placed. Emma Chase manages to get steam into the first pages while at the same time weaving in the slow burn that keeps you hooked til the end. Hot sex and incredible humour. How Emma Chase manages to weave so many seeming opposites together is anyone’s guess. She’s a genius!

Sweet story
Sweet story, well written and well narrated. The story lost some stars because the momentum stalled when Lainey spent soooo much time in bed - and there was just too much pregnancy detail...
