Complicated plot with twists but gripping and enjoyable.
I found it difficult at first to place all the characters but it gradually became clearer. It took me a while to really get into it but I was glad I persevered as I then didn’t want to stop listening. Would recommend.

Just not my cup of tea
Found some parts of the story a bit repetitive and uninteresting but I think that was more because it wasn't my sort of novel. The narrators characters were excellent but I found some of the actual story line sounded very samey yet other bits had lots of atmosphere
I certainly wouldn't put anyone off giving this a try.

Could not finish it on Audible as the narrators voice and tone got on my nerves.
won't bother trying another one if it's the same narrator. haven't a clue what the book was about. First time that's happened to me. I've listened to hundreds of books.

Great story
I really enjoyed the story and the characters, but I have to say the narration was good the overly dramatic throughout. The dramatic annunciation made every normal sentence a drama.

Good story line
The story line was great, lots of twists and turns but I wasn't too keen on the narrator. He had a lovely soft Scottish accent but it was how he kept pausing and tiny pause's that didn't appear to be at punctuation.
