Wit, Charm, knowledge, delivered in dulcit tones.
I could listen to Christopher Hitchens all day (and indeed have on occasion). I miss the arsenal of encyclopedic, historical political knowledge he drew on to exquisitely articulate his arguments. Love his ironic wordsmithery.

Hitch at his best
I only became aware of Hitch 3 years ago some 7 years after this phenomenal man died.
what an inspiration he is.Showing that you don't have to live a perfect life,to influence millions of people.
But you do have to question all those who shout loudly and tell you that they are right and you have to do what they say.
one of the greatest thinkers of our time, what a great debt we owe to him for his uncompromising, intelligent, peotic,,thought provoking insights onto how man continues to try and control his fellow man.
He ranks right up there with Carl Sagan and, like Sagan, is a source of energy for all of us skeptics as we fight the theologians

Inspirational
This is a great book and probably one of the few that I can see myself listening to again because it is has such depth. Hitchens has a very engaging writing style and it’s good to hear him deliver his own words. It is important that someone is prepared to say these things because we have gone backwards in recent times and people have become afraid to speak honestly about religion. I couldn’t recommend it highly enough.

Truth
I'd love to read a rebuttal to this book. The author argues his points so convincingly as to lay waste to all religion, truly showing the terror they have caused.

Religion, Nailed.
Wow, what a piece of work this is. CH knew his stuff, blimey. So many nuggets of fascinating facts which sometimes got my toes curling in anger and frustration at just how destructive religion can be and has been through the centuries. It’s also wryly humorous in places, especially when the ridiculous hypocrisy of it all takes the spotlight.
Hitchens sometimes throws lines away, and uses the incorrect inflection, (him not being the most natural of orators) but it was a mostly riveting listen.
Thoroughly recommended for people sick of religious dogma who fancy upgrading their arsenal against it.

Relgion is indeed insanity.
This book clearly and factually shows us of our primitive thought processes of a past world.

Good God!
Thank God for Darwin! Thank God for all those free thinkers throughout time that never bent or wavered to find the truth.

Gone too soon
If all of these Faith's are so devine and right in the eyes of their gods, why do books like this send them into such vicious tantrums.
