About this listen
Dolan versus Everett. Snarky meets stoic.
Dolan Masters loathes many things: root canals, splinters in his fingers, and people putting toilet paper on the roll wrong - loose end over the top, please. But the one thing he hates more than anything else is Everett freaking Henson.
Everett Henson spends more time with animals than people, his best friend, Eli, being the exception. The downside of that friendship means crossing paths with Dolan Masters; the man who rubs Everett wrong in every way possible.
But a baby changes everything.
With both men believing they deserve the honor of being the godfather to their best friend's baby, the only way to settle things is through a competition. Will there be bloodshed, or will these two realize the truth staring them in the face?
May the best godfather win.

Easy listening
Heartwarming and charming story.
I like these two narrators as they always bring stories alive. I've not heard anything by this author before but much better than many others.

Hilarious!
Another audiobook I adore and need the paperback for! Brittany Cournoyer did an excellent job writing this story and Kirt and John did wonderful things with the audiobook!

I really loved this piece. Brittany brough life to the story and characters. The story was full of hilarity, snark, adorableness and love. I really liked how the story was so unique in its plot, how the characters all came together seamlessly in their connections, friendships, relationships. I loved all the characters way of interacting with each-other, and over all I adored the chemistry between the two mains. The ending was imperfectly perfect. Not an overly embellished marriage or proposal though we all do love those it wasn’t needed. Brittany listened to what her characters needed, and gave them the happy ever after that was right for them! It was disgustingly romantic, because it was them.
The narration was phenomenal.
Kirt Graves did a great job with Dolan, his timber was sexy, his inner monologues were endearing and passionate. I liked how his obvious connecting with the character he voiced cane through in the narration.
John solo is a favourite of mine. He took his role as Everett and blew it out of the water. Solo has amazing talents with voice acting, giving everyone character their own unique feel. I’ve listened to a lot by John and of course there are little similarities that are all John like how he excels at the emotions (especially earnestness) that the characters feel, you can always differentiate between characters, side and mains, and feel the unique traits he brings to each one.

Very mediocre
Slow paced storyline with very predictable twists and turns. Not a book I would recommend. Good narration though.

boring
I can't believe I listened to all of this. very predictable plot with really unfunny mishaps causing the couple to, initially hate each other then fall in love. positively dreary.
