About this listen
True love never dies. Emma Donohue begs to differ.
When a late-night accident claims the love of her life, Emma secludes herself in memories of James. In his sandy brown hair and clear blue eyes. In their innocent first kiss and declarations of love. In their plans for a life together after college. But happy dreams can’t rid her of the guilt she carries. She can’t erase her actions the night he died. She can’t erase her reaction at his funeral. And she can’t erase the hollow void that fills her chest and consumes her heart.
The first time Emma hears James’ voice, she’s astounded. It sounds as if he’s standing right beside her, and she fears her shattered heart is trying to drive her mad. But as she continues to hear the voice, she finds comfort in it. With the help of her best friend, Shel, and handsome newcomer Dane, she tries to move forward and start living again.
Until the voice in her head turns out to be more. So much more.
You know what they say.
True love never dies.

A love lost
Emma has to deal with the death of her boyfriend, she’s not doing well. Therefore her parents calls her best friend to help. Emma does get into a routine again. Then her heart and her mind don’t agree on thing and she gets confused. This book concentrates on this. I’m sure book two will explain more about book one as this book leaves you with questions and you will want to pick up book two to find those answers. I believe that Sarah did an outstanding job narrating this book.

Finds her way back from a tragedy
This Coming of Age pn romance doesn’t have any of the usual characters you find in a most pn stories . This story contains a young man that left his mortal life in a tragic end to early and is desperate to return to the woman he loves, as her guardian.
This is a trilogy, it’s sad, but hopeful.
I enjoyed the narration by Sarah Colton, and look forward to the next story in this trilogy.

Absolutely brilliant!
I loved everything about this book.
Such a bittersweet story with a twist. The characters were so lovable (except Patrick of course!) and the story kept me glued! Sarah Mack was a new author to me and I will definately seek her out again!
Sarah Colton’s narration was excellent as always.
Both narrator and Author brought the charters to life and made this listen an easy recommendation from me.

Something different
Ok so I’m not quite sure what is going on but I’m sure book 2 will hold the answers! This is a highly emotional book that will have you crying and shouting. Written with lots of angst. Great performance from Sarah.
