Summary

GustoSinga is an adventure not to be missed!

Based on truth, but written with imagination, Dinieve (life-giver) is an orphaned girl who has intuitive communication skills with all living things. She finds an orphaned lion cub, who she names Gusto, and knows that advice from the matriarch elephant must not be taken lightly. Humor and truth are shared with a positive vibe, portraying bravery against all odds.

We are all on a journey, and Marguerite MacLean invites every listener to join her on this adventure, encouraging all to embrace the future of our world with a new awareness like never before.

The calls of nature bring Dinieve a huge leap of faith in a dangerous voyage with Gusto, who meets another orphaned feline, Singa - the offspring of the last tiger to be shot in Singapore in 1930. If the elephants can share over continents as they do, may MacLean's written words share an adaptability and sensitivity to cultural diversity and an important insight into endangered species, and collectively, our endangered planet, Earth.

I can highly recommend this book for ALL ages. The author's love and knowledge of animals shines through, and her experience living in Africa, UK, and Asia contributes extensive local knowledge, which excites and educates the listener and provides a memorable setting for the main characters. This is equally matched by her love for humanity and every living thing, which infiltrates throughout the book leaving one pondering many of life's conundrums.

This fast-paced story, shared factually and creatively will spellbind any listener. Marguerite's writing seems to have that magical power of giving life and personality to animals in the style of David Attenborough, bringing a unique, imaginative experience - a new slant on how man and nature interact, a definite inspiration for all! Communication with animals and people from all cultures through intuitive listening skills leads to true excitement and romance! Many excellent reviews by qualified educators.
