Heartbreaking truth in the Middle East
Sarah Mattix shares her experience of counselling women in the Middle East with boldness and grace. The stories are heartbreaking which make the reading heavy at times, however having a background from this region I can confirm that it is a true reflection of the challenges many women throughout the Middle East, and other areas of the world experience. The stories will open your eyes to things that you didn’t know existed, and have you nodding with other parts that may be more common. The book shows how we too can create a sisterhood which brings healing. It brings comfort to know that counsellors such as Sarah exist, in our most challenging times, we all need someone like Sarah.
