Summary

Gemma Ranford wants the job cataloging the documents of the Frazier family so much that she is ready to do battle to get it. Fascinated with history, and desperately trying to finish her dissertation, she's hoping against all hope that the papers will yield new information to invigorate her research.

What she didn't expect to find is references to the Heartwishes Stone - believed by most to be pure legend - and said to grant wishes to anyone named Frazier.

As Gemma learns more about the family - and even begins falling in love with the eldest son, Colin - it becomes increasingly clear that their wishes are actually coming true. Together, Gemma and Colin must work together to find the stone that's been missing for over 100 years - and with an international thief also on the hunt, the clock is ticking. Because in the wrong hands, no one named Frazier will ever be safe.

Wonderful addition to a great series!

Starts out pretty interesting with loads of boxes and history to go through. But the selection of who’s gonna be hired would have been interesting. You go through this whole chapter where Gemma thinks she’s doing everything wrong to get hired for the job while the other party is being exactly what the family ordered. When doom time comes you’re told that the other party went kicking and fussing but it would have been nice for more details. Also too many ‘she said’ s and ‘he said’ s; would have liked the book better without that.
You can see that there are continuations with the series. Colin is the eldest and he’s got brothers and a sister who will make up future additions to the series. Should get pretty interesting. There is hinting that they will or want to get married but nothing is definite, NR leaves that for further novels.
The story only picks up to peak interest with the Heart Stone Wishes with only 3 hrs left, would have liked more of it.
Way too many references of the ‘other woman’ Jean being made, about how the whole town hates Jean and loves Gemma. The book ends with shocking revelation of child molestation and nothing is mention of the ‘thief’ being charged for past molestation's but is charged for past thefts. Didn't like that.

Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.
