Bloomsbury presents Heir of Fire by Sarah J. Maas, read by Elizabeth Evans.

The third instalment to the global number one best-selling series.

As the King of Adarlan’s assassin, Celaena Sardothien is bound to serve the tyrant who slaughtered her dear friend. But she has vowed to make him pay. The answers Celaena needs to destroy the king lie across the sea Wendlyn. And Chaol, captain of the king's guard, has put his future in jeopardy to send her there.

Yet as Celaena seeks her destiny in Wendlyn, a new threat is preparing to take to the skies. Will Celaena find the strength not only to win her own battles but to fight a war that could pit her loyalties to her own people against those she has grown to love?

Absolutely captivating!

Book 3 had me completely hooked. It moves so much quicker than the first two. there are multiple storylines, intertwining to give way to the next book. All of the stories are left in a way that means I must buy the next book immediately. The narration is brilliant, the characters are so well done. I'm such a huge fan of Rowan. Such a great book.

Loved it!

I liked the first 2 books too but I love it more as it goes on, the characters are great and I’m so glad Rowan turned out to be lovely! I’m so sad to see the king treat Dorian so horribly though and I can’t wait for the next book to see Aelan kick his head in!!

✨𝐒𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐀𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐬𝐡𝐫𝐲𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐆𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐲𝐧𝐢𝐮𝐬—𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐛𝐞 𝐚𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐝.✨

I always forget the pain I go through when re-reading/re-listening to this series. This is one of my favourites in the Throne of Glass series because we finally meet the formidable Manon, and the adorably strong willed Abraxos, and let’s not forget my main man Rowan.

They keep getting better !

Each book is getting more and more engrossing. Looking forward to starting the next...immediately. The plot is becoming increasingly more complex and gripping; the characters are developing and the stakes are getting higher. Onto the next...!
