The heir of ash and fire bows to no one.

A new threat rises in the third book in the #1 bestselling Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas.

Celaena Sardothien has survived deadly contests and shattering heartbreak, but now she must travel to a new land to confront her darkest truth. That truth could change her life—and her future—forever.

Meanwhile, monstrous forces are gathering on the horizon, intent on enslaving her world. To defeat them, Celaena will need the strength not only to fight the evil that is about to be unleashed but also to harness her inner demons. If she is to win this battle, she must find the courage to face her destiny—and burn brighter than ever before.

The third book in the #1 New York Times bestselling Throne of Glass series continues Celaena’s epic journey from woman to warrior.

I always forget the pain I go through when re-reading/re-listening to this series. This is one of my favourites in the Throne of Glass series because we finally meet the formidable Manon, and the adorably strong willed Abraxos, and let’s not forget my main man Rowan.

Pageturner

Each book is even more exciting than the last. Great storyline, pacing and just the right amount of characters for the reader to get to know them properly. I REALLY wish that the protagonists weren’t teenagers… fortunately they do not act or speak like teenagers so it’s pretty easy to pretend they are not. This book can easily pass as fantasy for adults and not just YA so I wish the characters age in it was adapted to that.

Brilliant

I read these in paper form years ago and loved them. I was not disappointed in them now. Elizabeth Evans adds a richness to already full characters. Can’t wait to read the next instalments

Voices

This narrator was very good at the male voices. Especially since there were so many throughout the book and gave them each their own voice. Also, the creepy, villain voices were superb and really chilling.

Loved it!

I liked the first 2 books too but I love it more as it goes on, the characters are great and I’m so glad Rowan turned out to be lovely! I’m so sad to see the king treat Dorian so horribly though and I can’t wait for the next book to see Aelan kick his head in!!
