Summary

A rising star in the fantasy genre, Michael J. Sullivan has built an ardent following for his Riyria Revelations saga, which draws to its epic conclusion in Heir of Novron.

On the holiday of Wintertide, the New Empire plans to burn the Witch of Melengar and force the Empress into a marriage of their own design. But they didn’t account for Royce and Hadrian finally locating the Heir of Novron—or the pair’s desire to wreak havoc on the New Empire’s carefully crafted scheme.

Heir of Novron contains Wintertide and Percepliquis, books 5 and 6 of Riyria Revelations.

I haven't

Enjoyed a series of books so much in a while, characters are great, the writing was brilliant this man is a wordsmith par excellence and the range of emotions kept me enthralled and on the edge of my seat for days, brilliant narration also, this applies to all 3 books.

A fantastic read, the whole trilogy is a wonderful magical tale following two thieves Royce Melbourne and Hadrian Blackwater, and their path from humble beginnings to, ( I'm not going to tell you, you will have to read them yourselves!!! ) needless to say once you pick up the first book, you will not want to stop until you have read all three!!!! A great fantasy story but something was missing

The ending felt a bit rushed though it was a great story overall. I loved the developed of some side characters like Modina but others were simply used for convenience and then discarded. Narration got sloppier towards the end. I don't expect different voices for every character but it seemed like the narrator would sometimes forget to differentiate between two characters that are having a dialogue. Nevertheless, I immensely enjoyed the whole series and Michael J. Sullivan is now among my favourite fantasy writers together with Kel Kade, Patrick Rothfuss, Scott Lynch and the rest.

Another excellent story

Good stories that have developed across the series. The finale ties up all those loose strings and is thoroughly enjoyable.

Light-hearted fun

It's good, fun, light-hearted entertainment.

The narration is fine, though at times some of the characters sound almost a little too jolly for the moment.

It's worth listening to the whole series, as the thread is good and clues are given early on.

Great ending to the series

Where does Heir of Novron rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Good story that kept me engaged all the way through. Even better than the earlier one in the series.
