Real history brought to life!

Really immersed myself in this gripping tale of real people making real history. I got a bit lost in all the Mossad characters but it didn't spoil my enjoyment of an inspiring story beautifully narrated - and, in the end, justice was served.

Fascinating, uplifting and profoundly moving.

A quite superb recount of one of the major events in history. The how’s and wherefore’s have never been more exactly documented nor read with such compelling tones. A quite exceptional listen.

A thorough historical account of Eichmann

I enjoyed listening to this book and learning of Eichmann’s background, crimes in WWII and eventual capture in 1960 in Argentina. The author details those that helped him escape from Germany as well as those who hunted him down. It also helps explain the falsehood of the claim that, like other Nazis, he was only following orders.

Excellent

I really enjoyed this book, superb narration and although the outcome is known it’s quite gripping at times. Superb amount of detail about the people and the backgrounds featured.
Well worth a listen.

Stunning piece of work

Not usually a fan of non-fiction, this had me spellbound. The terrifying depths of depravity of the Nazi killing machine and its individual operatives is fully matched by the tenacity - bordering obsession - of the dozens and dozens of people involved in the war criminal's hunt and eventual capture. The hunt required extreme courage, doggedness and the sacrifice of years of their lives from many of the participants. If I had time I'd go back and count up the number of people, steps, schemes, documents, subterfuges and plans that were part of the operation that spanned several years and crossed the continents - it would be an astounding number. Just the details of the false passports that were necessary for a mere part of the whole operation (around the 6 hour mark of the book) but is enough to boggle your mind - and that was but a tiny cog in the grand scheme of things. A captivating and dark listen, well worth every minute. Lest we forget...

Amazing account, incredibly well read

Loved this audiobook, and how justice was done in capturing one of the highest nazi in command. The last sentence is heart breaking as well. I suggest this book to anyone who has an interest in history.
