About this listen

“I can’t breathe.”

These three words rocked the nation in the spring of 2020. The historic eruption of lawlessness and violence that followed George Floyd’s death opened new fault lines in the nation’s cultural and political landscape, threatening a radical reshaping of American society.

In I Can’t Breathe, the relentlessly penetrating David Horowitz exposes the biggest hoax of the 21st century. Despite its claim to be an “inclusive and spacious movement”, Black Lives Matter divides Americans by race, class, and party in pursuit of a radical agenda that would impoverish and degrade everyone.

Relying on groundbreaking research and dozens of internal documents, Horowitz reveals:

  • Why Black lives don’t matter to the leaders of Black Lives Matter
  • How, in just seven years, BLM became one of the most powerful cultural forces in America
  • Why BLM is not a civil rights organization
  • Why BLM leaders won’t be satisfied until the West has been dismantled and “reimagined”

The goals of Black Lives Matter are a far cry from those of the civil rights movement of 60 years ago, warns Horowitz. I Can’t Breathe uncovers the truth about BLM and provides solutions that will actually strengthen Black communities and guarantee the freedom of all citizens.

Essential Reading

Many more people need to read books like this. For far too long now, the mainstream media, as well as left wing government, have distorted the truth to drive an agenda. Sadly, it seems the majority of the public believe without question the narrative being fed to them from the likes of CNN, MSNBC and the BBC. Until around five years ago, I was of the belief, like most, that the news we consume via the big players was impartial and factually correct.

It is not.

This book, expertly written and researched, will uncover the real truth behind the BLM movement, it's false claims and the distorted lie that forms the very foundation of the organization. Even during the BLM riots of 2020, I was aware that the narrative being peddled by the press and government was wildly inaccurate, but even I was shocked at the levels of deceit that can be readily uncovered by something that used to be present within the press, critical thinking and research.

This book fills the gap that we used to have filled by truly investigative journalism. Over the past few years, noticeable to me especially during the COVID debacle, was the lack of what used to be such journalism, instead simply repeating the government position rather than take an impartial stance and then go find out the truth for themselves. That seems to be largely gone now and we, the public at large, have to depend on the mainstream media and what passes for journalism to get an accurate picture of what's going on.

It isn't hard to request crime statistics from Police departments, the judiciary and the government in order to quickly destroy the myths so loudly spouted by BLM. Worse still, was the collusion of the Democrat party in the U.S to all this lies and destruction.
My review of this book is timely as here in the U.K, we are experiencing something similar in how a left wing government is choosing to either ignore the issues or deny them, even offering overt support to groups with an antithetical culture and attitude to the indigenous citizens. During the BLM rioting, mostly peaceful as reported by left wing media, over200 U.S cities experienced violence. Republican cities cracked down on this while Democrat, in many cases, chose to turn a blind eye, even supporting it. And now, we see here in the U.K our left wing Labour government doing something similar.

I Can't Breathe will analyse the myths perpetuated by BLM and the Democrats and destroy them by using simple facts. Facts that some will find uncomfortable and will deny, as accepting the actual evidence, not the rhetoric, will undermine their cause.

Essential reading for those tired of the false narratives that lead to violence and divisiveness.
