About this listen

Sascha hat einen schlechten Tag. Zuerst gibt es Probleme in der Arbeit. Dann macht seine Freundin mit ihm Schluss. Warum? Weil er einen komischen Familiennamen hat: Frauenschuh! Mit diesem hässlichen Namen kann er kein schönes Leben haben, findet Sascha. In der Nacht trifft er einen Teenager mit neongrünen Joggingschuhen vor seinem Haus. Aber wer ist dieser Yannik? Warum will er Sascha helfen? Und wie? Plötzlich beginnt es zu regnen und zu donnern. Im nächsten Moment ist Sascha in dem Körper von einem anderen Mann. Auch dieser Mann heißt Sascha Frauenschuh. Ist das alles nur ein Traum? Vielleicht nicht, denn Sascha springt wieder, von einem Sascha Frauenschuh in den nächsten und immer weiter...

Loved it!

Can a name really define who you are as a person? Sascha Frauenschuh seems to think so, that is, until he meets Yannick. Sascha jumps from one Sascha Frauenschuh to another and lives in their body for a brief period. He eventually comes back to his own body and his own life having learned a lot about who he is. A really good story from Angelika Bohn and she has not failed to deliver yet again. The narration was excellent and it moved along at a good pace to keep your interest piqued. Read and listened to this simultaneously in a single sitting. An excellent way to reinforce vocabulary and grammar effortlessly. Loved it!

Funny and well written

Angelika Bohn'a books are brilliant for learning German: funny, interesting, and at just the right level with lots of common words repeated often (but without becoming boring). This book is an ideal progression from Nachbarn Nr. 5, and although the sentences are longer and A2 grammar is used it really doesn't feel that much more difficult.

Also, Sascha Frauenschuh really had such a wild and interesting time, and if you listen to this book a few times after reading it you really do just pick up the new words.
