Summary
Molly Murphy's beau Captain Daniel Sullivan may be out of jail on bail, but he's still a ways from clearing his name, and his foul mood has Molly in search of a little breathing room when providence steps in in the form of a proposition from New York City's renowned theatrical impresario Tommy Burke.
America has been very good to Tommy, and now that he's getting on in years, he'd like to pass some of that good fortune on to his family back in Ireland. That's, of course, if Molly can find the long-lost baby sister his family left in the care of a parish priest when they fled the famine and avoid the warrant out for her arrest that forced Molly to flee herself. This one seems to be darker than previous one's Only one murder to solve bug a very exciting journey. Read brilliantly by Nicola Barber.

Another great one, just one let down
The only thing that lets this book down is the fact that the narrator did no research on the pronunciation of Irish names. She didn’t get one right. Quite frustrating really when there’s a simple fix.
But other than that another great Molly Murphy mystery. I’m totally hooked on the series.

Disappointing Narration
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
Disappointing fact finding & research regarding Irish places
What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?
Narratation would be improved if proper pronunciation was used. It is not difficult to find out how to pronounce Irish names & French placenames. Let the story down.
Would you be willing to try another one of Nicola Barber’s performances?
Possibly not in this series.
