Summary
Infinite2 is a bold continuation of Robinson’s best-selling science fiction novel, packed with mystery, action, and mind-bending twists.
Over a million books sold!
William Chanokh is immortal...and he’s trapped on the Galahad, an interstellar starship on a never-ending journey through open space.
His only companions are Capria - mortal and in cryo-sleep - and Gal, an artificial intelligence, and the love of his life, with whom he spends every waking moment in the "Great Escape", a virtual paradise. After untold years living countless lives, Gal begins acting strange. Possessive. Violent. Paranoid.
Positive that something in the real world is causing her to malfunction, Will attempts to leave the Great Escape, but he finds himself a prisoner. Guided by a voice from reality, he is thrust into a series of torturous narratives, each one designed to break his will and keep him trapped in virtual reality.
Betrayed by his digital love, his long-term memory overwritten, and enduring violent manipulation, Will painfully peels back layers of simulation, fighting to reach reality 1.0 - where the nightmares are real.
Maybe.
New York Times and number-one Audible best-selling author Jeremy Robinson takes listeners on a heart-wrenching journey to the edge of the universe and beyond, where distinguishing reality from simulation might be impossible.

Darker and crueller than the original
Best described to British people as a dark, adult and non-comedic version of Red Dwarf, the premise is excellent and I loved the first book. This sequel delves into the pathos of eternal life and how that changes you over an eternity. Fascinating but macabre, the complex and breakneck storytelling is told effortlessly by RC Bray's terrific narration, this is a book worth consuming. I just hope we don't have to wait too long for a part 3!

A solid follow up.
While I did find the book a bit slow and repetitive at the start, and personally found the callbacks to Robinson's got a bit too carried away (although I'm sure lots of fans loved it, and that's awesome) the book pays off big. The original was phenomenal and a tough act to follow, and while it may not have hit the same highs, it is a great read all in.

Infinite and a lot more
The first book was brilliant the second takes the ideas a whole step further. The concept is well written and takes you on journey of possibility, if you could exist in a realm of infinite possibility how would you cope? There are some dark places you can live in but love is a powerful thing to keep you existing.

Absolute cracker, Loved it!!
Great sequel, could almost say it's a different book rather than a continuation, I'm currently getting through the entire cross over series, absolutely loving them, such an amazing bit of writing all are page turners so far. RC is amazing as usual!.

As good if not better than the original
I bindged this book over a coupled days, totally stands up as it's own book while staying true to the first. Also having the god king of audible RC Bray narrating was awesome.

Good story, great performance
Perhaps a little repetitive, but gets you hooked until the end. Not as humorous as his first book, but that's not a criticism, just a statement.
