Eddie Sutherland is dead. Normally, Detective Wes O'Brien wouldn't care about another dead drug dealer, but he may just be the man who killed him. Thrown off the force and under investigation, Wes is called upon privately to look into a cheating spouse case. The one thing he wanted to avoid. Black Is the new Black
This dark full on detective story was very well written and held my attention throughout, liked the characters, and felt the unexpected double act of Irish and the Bounty hunter made a good double act.
Narration is good, and very slick, fast paced story with lots of twists and realistic dialogue makes me want to read more The Irish Black series.

Don't mess with Irish Black
Detective Wes 'Irish Black' O'Brien is a tough cop who pushes the boundaries of legality, after his latest indiscretion he is dismissed. With no clear direction, he takes a private case, following a senator who is playing away from home. When the senator is killed, he finds himself investigating a murder case and uncovers a conspiracy.
