Summary
Have you ever wondered whether the strange and ancient law just quoted to you by someone is correct? Does it exist, did it exist, and even more interesting, is it still in statute? Super fun and a learning curve
This is crazy. I never knew the old law and the myths surrounding them. This is super informative and I enjoyed listening to this knowledgeable audiobook on the old, modern and the very odd laws.

Very fascinating

A fun and interesting listen!
This audiobook is a really great short listen! It is packed with fun and intriguing facts about laws and legislations that are somewhat outdated, irrelevant or simply super quirky! It easy to listen to while on a short drive, and I found it quite interesting and amusing. Highly recommend!

So entertaining!! Love it!!
Wow this book is so entertaining! I have learned a lot in this short audiobook. As I live in the US I can't believe how different are the laws, especially the ancient laws that are still effective as today in UK. My favorite section is "Stupid things done by people which broke the law" it is CRAZY!! I think I might be the one that get arrest lol. highly recommend for anyone looking for a quick entertaining book to read.

Very interesting
This audiobook is a great short listen, it is narrated well and contains loads of interesting facts on old, outdated and somewhat quirky laws in the UK. If you love weird and interesting facts then this is for you.

Funny, Crazy, True!
Bought this as my cousin works in Law in Edinburgh, and always jokes about the absurd, archaic and fictitious sounding laws, and wanted to know how many there were. Sure enough there are many, and they are hilarious! Listened to this on a road trip recently and was thoroughly entertained, followed up with my cousin and was even able to inform HER about some of the laws she had no idea about.
Great for anyone who's a fan of absurdist history, and the old, cantankerous laws that persist around the UK. The narrator is engaging and easy to listen to, and the content is accurate!

Well, this audiobook caught my eye as I remember having a mini-lecture about some of the strange laws that still exist in England and Wales. It was interesting to learn some strange Scottish laws, as Scotland has a different legal system to England and Wales. There were lots of interesting nuggets that would make interesting conversation starters. The audiobook narration was engaging and easy to listen to.

Easy to Follow and Insightful!
The audiobook gives insight into some of the laws that we have just accepted without finding out if they are in existence or not. The truth is that many of these laws go out of use without much awareness of them. US and UK laws are similar with few differences, but US laws do change more than UK laws. There are still many old laws in place that should be reviewed. The book is easy to follow and insightful.

interesting
Very interesting and some real weird laws in the UK, im Scottish myself and didn't know half of these. who knew that technically u needed the queen's permission to fly the lion rampant, or that it was illegal to fish salmon on a Sunday. have a listen if u like your interesting and weird facts, u will defo learn something new
