Summary

Izzy has joined the Air Transport Auxiliary and can’t believe her luck. She’s getting to do the thing she loves most: flying. On the ground she is a woman who longs to be independent, but who is lying to her family about the job she does. But, in the thrill of the air, she can be free. A light, entertaining listen.

Any additional comments?

Although I enjoyed listening to this, I think Isla Dewar is better at contemporary stories - a lot of the attitudes of the women in the book didn't ring true for the time and although obviously people did have sex outside of marriage I don't think the women would have been so blase about it.
Don't let that put you off though, it's still a good story.
