Summary
Wie kommt es, dass Christi Geburt in der Tradition nach Bethlehem verlegt wurde, obwohl doch historisch wenig dafür spricht, dass er dort geboren wurde? Der Autor, Martin Koschorke, stellt allgemeinverständlich und lebendig dar, warum die Geschehnisse so und nicht anders erzählt werden. Damit führt er den Hörer ins Innere der Weihnachtsgeschichte. Er will damit nicht einfach nur einen Mythos zerstören, sondern im Gegenteil verdeutlichen, dass die offizielle Version der Geschehnisse in Bethlehem historisch zwar falsch, aber menschlich und religiös verständlich, ja sogar notwendig war.
